image I use maths games to get children to enjoy themselves while improving their numeracy. Nubble is a great game. It requires the maths operations of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. My family find this game rather addictive and games last all evening sometimes. It can be purchased here. Fraction Action is a good way of reinforcing understanding of equivalent fractions, percentages and decimals. It can be purchased here. A good game for reinforcing multiplication tables is Maths War Multiplication.

Maths Snap is a good game, reinforcing the four functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Maths Snap Plus is even better as it includes fractions, indices and square roots. What’s The Point? is a game which requires you to match your tiles with the value of the spinner using decimals, fractions and percentages.

image Brainbox games also have a range that reinforces memory and learning. This link has a variety of books for reinforcing various maths functions in a fun way. image
