A Kestrel for a Knave is a story by Barry Hines from which we have taken an extract and provided English language comprehension questions in CSSE 11+ examination format. There are three sections to the exam and a marking plan with a guide to essay assessment. You can print out the exam for the student and withhold the marking scheme for subsequent assessment purposes.
